Hey everyone! How is your summer going? Six Tin Jonesy is on its hard earned summer break. But don’t worry, we will be back sooner than you think.

Some news for you to look forward to. We will be working on a limited edition acoustic cd of 6 of our best songs this fall. Also first attempts of recording a full length album have been made, so we hope it won’t take too long for that to come out.

Also, we will be expanding our merchandise selection for you after this summer. You will be first to hear all about that.

Once again we have to thank all of you for catapulting us to the final of the “Local Heroes” band contest. It was an amazing show and an honor to play for all of you. We can’t wait to give it all in the final round on May 24th, 2008 in Wr. Neudorf.

You guys did it again. Thank you for taking us to the next level of the Local Heroes Band Contest.

We were able to win the audiance voting on Feb. 24th at the Arena Wien. Now we’re playing the next round on April 4th 2008 also at the Arena Wien. But as we saw last time, competition is getting harder and the battle is getting tougher!

So, more than ever, we need your support at the semi final (Ostfinale). It will be a brand new show, new songs and an even better time than the last two contests.

Yes it is happening. Six Tin Jonesy is playing their first band contest. Out of the many contests there are in Austria by now we picked LOCAL HEROES 2008. It’s a live contest where all bands are being rated by the people in the audience as well as by a jury. For all the specifics go to: www.local-heroes.org

Our first round is on Feb. 8th 2008 at Arena Wien. Check out our show section for more details. We can need all the help we can get, so please come out and support your favorite band at this show!
